Delivery
Worldwide shipping
We ship the FlyingBodo worldwide.
Shipping costs
Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout and depend on:
- Country of delivery
- Order value
The applicable shipping costs will be displayed at checkout before you complete your order.
You can find an overview of shipping costs on our "Shipping & Delivery" page.
Deliveries to non-EU countries are made DAP (Delivered At Place).
That means: You pay the shipping costs when you place your order.
Any import duties (e.g., import VAT, customs) as well as customs clearance or service fees charged by the carrier are paid directly in the destination country upon import/delivery.
These fees are levied by the authorities or shipping service provider of the destination country and are beyond our control.
We have no control over these costs and cannot reimburse them.
Important:
If a shipment is returned to us due to unpaid import duties, refusal of acceptance, or failure to clear customs, we reserve the right to:
- the return shipping costs
- incurred customs or service charges
to be deducted from the refund amount.
Processing time
Orders are usually prepared for shipment within 1-2 business days after payment has been received.
In exceptional cases (e.g., in the event of particularly high order volume), the processing time may be slightly longer.
Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation by email with a tracking number to track your shipment.
Status "Delivered", but no package
Please check your mailbox first or ask your neighbors or people living in your household.

Incorrect delivery address
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order.
We cannot accept liability for delivery problems caused by incorrectly entered addresses .
Uncollected shipments
If a shipment is not collected after a delivery attempt and is returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct the incurred return shipping costs from the refund amount.
Returns & Cancellations
14-day right of withdrawal
You can cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods .
Inspection of the goods
You may inspect the FlyingBodo in the same way as you would in a retail store.
Please ensure that the item is returned in a clean and complete condition .
Missing parts or excessive signs of wear and tear may result in a compensation payment .
Return label
Please contact us before returning an item at shop@bodo-030.dog
We will then provide you with the further instructions for the return.
For returns from non-EU countries, import duties or customs clearance fees may apply. These costs cannot be covered by us.
Return shipping costs
You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
The cost of the return label will be automatically deducted from the refund amount.
Return address
Returns must be sent to our warehouse in Germany.
Incorrectly posted returns
Please use only the return label included with your shipment.
For returns sent without sufficient postage or with incorrect postage, we reserve the right to deduct any additional costs from the refund amount.
Should the item has been used beyond the usual inspection, we reserve the right to deduct reasonable compensation for the loss in value in accordance with §357 BGB from the refund amount.
If you wish to return an order from a non-EU country (e.g. Switzerland, the UK, the USA or Australia), please note the following:
Return to Germany
All returns must be sent to our warehouse in Germany.
Return shipping costs
You are responsible for the cost of international returns.
We recommend using a tracked return shipment, as we cannot accept liability for lost returns.
Customs & declaration
Please declare the return correctly as “Return of Goods” or “Returned Merchandise” to avoid additional import duties.
If customs duties or import charges arise due to an incorrect declaration, we reserve the right to deduct these costs from the refund amount.
Important
If a return shipment cannot be delivered or is sent back to you due to missing customs information or unpaid fees, no refund can be issued until the goods have been received by us.
Warranty
We offer a voluntary 12-month warranty on the metal components of the FlyingBodo from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that occur during normal use.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, incorrect assembly, overloading, accidents or normal wear and tear.

Please include:
• a short description of the problem
• photos or a short video of the defect
• your order number
We review each warranty claim individually and will then decide on repair, replacement or another appropriate solution.
Order
Order confirmation
After a successful purchase, you will automatically receive an order confirmation by email.
This email contains an overview of your order as well as your order number.
No email received
If you cannot find the confirmation, please check your spam or junk folder.

Reasons
In rare cases, we may have to cancel an order, for example:
• unexpected product unavailability
• technical errors during the ordering process
• problems with payment processing
• obvious pricing errors
Refund
If an order has to be cancelled by us, we will inform you immediately.
Any payments already made will be fully refunded using the original payment method.

Once an order has been shipped, changes are unfortunately no longer possible.
You can cancel your order as long as it has not yet been shipped.

Payment
Available payment methods
We accept the following payment methods:

Depending on the country and device, additional local payment methods may be displayed at checkout.
PayPal
If you choose PayPal, you will be redirected to PayPal during checkout to complete the payment.
After successful payment, you will automatically be redirected back to our shop.
Pay later (Klarna)
Pay later is currently only available via Klarna.
Payment processing is handled directly by Klarna in accordance with their terms and conditions.
Payment verification
In certain cases, a payment may be automatically reviewed for security reasons.
This may cause a short delay in the processing of your order.
All payments are processed through certified payment providers.
Your payment details are transmitted via encrypted SSL connections and are not stored on our servers.
Compatibility & Assembly
Standard handlebars
The FlyingBodo is designed for handlebar diameters of Ø 25.4 mm and Ø 31.8 mm.
Compatibility
The FlyingBodo is compatible with most city, trekking, gravel and mountain bikes, as well as e-bikes.
E-bikes
The mount was specifically designed for use on e-bikes and is built to withstand the forces involved.

Check handlebar diameter
Yes. The FlyingBodo can also be used on bicycles with suspension forks .
No modifications required
You do not need to modify your bicycle to install the FlyingBodo.
The mount is attached directly to the handlebars.
Assembly instructions
Please install the FlyingBodo according to the assembly instructions and make sure all screws are properly tightened.
The FlyingBodo can also be used as a stable cargo basket for shopping or luggage.
The FlyingBodo is designed for dogs weighing up to 13 kg.
However, the maximum weight also depends on the dog, the bicycle, the handlebar design and the riding style.
Please note that, in addition to the dog's weight, any accessories or luggage placed in the basket should also be taken into account.
For safe use, we recommend:
• not exceeding the maximum weight
• regularly checking that the basket is securely mounted
• riding with particular care on uneven terrain
Care & Cleaning
Washing
Only wash in exceptional cases. The functional coating may be damaged by machine washing.
Hand wash
If necessary, clean with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild detergent.
No harsh cleaning agents
Do not use bleach, solvents or harsh cleaning agents, as these may damage the materials and coatings.
Drying
After rain or cleaning, allow the product to air dry completely.
Do not dry on radiators, near open flames or other strong heat sources.
Bag
Shake out or tap lightly on a regular basis.
If necessary, wipe with a damp cloth.
Padding
Fluff lightly from time to time to maintain comfort and shape.
